Trump is sure to howl over this month’s trade report. The trade deficit rose again.
The BEA’s Advance International Trade report shows the deficit in February rose by 0.1 percent to $75.4 billion. However, the BEA revised January from a deficit of $74.4 billion to a deficit of $75.3 billion.
Effectively, the deficit increased by $1.0 billion, 1.3% not 0.1%.
The widening deficit is sure to bring howls from Trump.
