Economic Events Of The Coming Week – 11/15/2015


Monday: Preliminary data on Japan’s GDP will be released for the third quarter. October’s final estimate for consumer prices in the Eurozone will also see light. ECB President Draghi will speak in Madrid.

Tuesday: Consumer, as well as Producer Price Indices will see light in the U.K., where core inflation is still holding strong at 1%. In Germany, November’s ZEW Survey will see light. October’s Consumer Price Index will see light in the U.S., where analysts expect annual inflation to return to positive territory. October’s Industrial Production will also be released in the U.S.

Wednesday: The weekly MBA Mortgage Applications will see light in the U.S., followed by October’s Housing Starts. Additionally, the Fed’s Lockhart and Dudley are scheduled to speak, and the Fed will release minutes from its October rate decision.

Thursday: October’s Trade Balance data will be released in Japan. September’s All Industry Activity Index will also see light, where analysts expect a modest 0.2% monthly recovery. The weekly Initial Jobless Claims will be released in the U.S., after recently running rather steady at the 250K-280K range. October’s Leading Index will also see light in the U.S. Fed’s Lockhart will speak in Atlanta.

Friday: Advance November Consumer Confidence Index will be released for the Eurozone – Analysts expect some improvement, to -7.5 from -7.7 in October. ECB President Draghi is scheduled to speak at the Euro Finance Week in Frankfurt.
