I was just about totally out of hope that any down market could ever take place and yet Trump, inexplicably, is making enemies of our largest trading partner. Hey, works for me – – nuclear war, alien invasion, I’ll take ANY reason for a down-move. If Trump wants to wreck the economy, I say: cool!
Of course, one small down-move does not make a bear market. We’ve seen this movie WAY too many times before. I will say, however, that we have wrecked one of the two horizontal breakout levels of the NASDAQ Composite, and we’re getting tantalizing close to spoiling the party on the other one. Hope springs eternal in the bearish breast.
