The Value Line Geometric Index is my preferred broad stock market index. It has retreated a bit after breaking above 585 and then above 590, taking out the January highs.
My trend slope indicator has been up since mid-May and has been relatively stable for the past two weeks or so.
The Index needs to stay above the 585ish level for me to consider the prior breakout as legitimate.
